Modi surrenders to China

  • When Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama never resorted to any kind of politics from Indian soil, during the past 60 years, this kind of government circular is unwarranted and is only to appease to Chinese, probably out of fear.
  • The underlying reason for Indian political surrender to China subsequent to Doklam standoff reflects our total defense unpreparedness arising out of defense budget cuts during the past 10 years and Modi and Manmohan Singh are responsible for this sorry state of defenseless India.
  • Today, our military hardware is totally worn out and its reliability in case of any war is uncertain. Also our ammunition stocks are sufficient for just a week of full scale war against Pakistan against standing recommendation of 30 days stocks.
  • Under these conditions India entering into Doklam standoff on behalf of Bhutan with China last year indicates not only recklessness but also lack of understanding of Chinese matters by our MEA and MOD and arrogance of Modi.
  • While Modi and BJP made innumerable aggressive statements against China during the standoff period in 2017, and after tamely & unilaterally withdrawing forces from Doklam region due to tough stand taken by China's PLA - Modi & Co maintained unexplained stoic silence indicating contemptible timidity.
  • With China investing heavily in all the countries surrounding India and making Indian economy completely dependent on its exports makes our economy vulnerable and function at their mercy apart from accepting their military mightiness.
  • Our self sufficiency and sovereignty stands thoroughly compromised today after 70 years of Independence. Shame on our successive governments who brought us to this kind of sorry state of affairs with their shortsightedness and foolishness.
