As seen in Gujarat elections Modi & Amit Shah and BJP will stoop down to any level and do anything to win Karnataka elections. Playing communal card is a time tested option for BJP. But what they would do is no easy guess. EVM tampering is a possibility apart from dumping money for buying votes. They may very well campaign Rahul Gandhi & Co as anti-nationalists, desh-drohis, etc. But my gut feeling is that all these will only boomerang on BJP & Modi's face. With so many forces working against BJP with Modi's arrogance & audacity, anger of minorities, Telugu people, Tamil people, caste divide etc all are likely to aid each other in trouncing BJP. PM Modi few days ago sang paeans to HD Deve Gowda, the JDS patriarch and influential Vokkaliga leader, four years after offering the shelter of an old-age home to him. Whereas now Modi is probably seeking Deve Gowda's help in forming Government in Karnataka, in case of hung assembly. Congress president Rahul Gandhi had rightly called the JDS the "B team" of the BJP.
